1. Koastal Eco Group – A Leading Contractor for Major Water Treatment Projects in Vietnam
Koastal Eco Group has established a strong position in the market, not only in the field of wastewater treatment, but also in ultra-pure water treatment and wastewater reuse, serving businesses across a wide range of industries and applications.
At Minh Hung Sikico Industrial Park in Binh Phuoc Province, Koastal Eco Group was honored to be trusted and selected by Investors to undertake three projects across three different areas:
- Minh Hung – Sikico Industrial Park Centralized Textile Dyeing Wastewater Treatment Plant
- Minh Hung Sikico Industrial Park Water Supply and Treatment Plant
- Japfa Meat Slaughtering Plant Wastewater Treatment and Reuse System, with a capacity of 4,850 m³/day
2. In Early 2022, Koastal Eco Commenced the Wastewater Treatment and Reuse Project for Japfa’s Meat Slaughtering and Processing Plant
The project “Wastewater Treatment and Reuse System for Japfa Meat Slaughtering Plant, with a capacity of 4,850 m³/day” was commenced and implemented in early 2022.
With significant attention and investment from Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Co., Ltd., the Investor, the project became one of the largest wastewater treatment facilities for the slaughtering industry in Vietnam.
3. Japfa Meat Slaughtering Plant Wastewater Treatment System Completed on Schedule and Officially Put into Operation in Early 2023
Despite facing various challenges as the COVID-19 pandemic was still ongoing at the time, the entire Koastal Eco Group team remained united and determined to overcome difficulties and complete the project on schedule.
The Wastewater Treatment System was the first component of the entire plant to be completed, finishing nearly six months ahead of the other facilities.
Following the construction phase, the project underwent a period of waiting for sufficient wastewater flow, environmental permit procedures, and commissioning. The Wastewater Treatment and Reuse System has now successfully met the acceptance requirements and has been officially accepted and handed over by Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Co., Ltd.
The treated water quality has remained stable and consistently met the requirements of Column A – QCVN 2011 for the wastewater treatment system and Column B1 – QCVN 2008 for the wastewater reuse system.
These results were achieved while maintaining a reasonable investment cost and low operating costs, without compromising the project’s quality or aesthetics.
The Wastewater Treatment and Reuse System at Japfa Meat Slaughtering Plant has been successfully accepted and handed over.
4. Prior to the Japfa Meat Slaughtering Plant Project, Koastal Eco Successfully Completed a Similar Project in Binh Phuoc Province
In 2020, Koastal Eco successfully completed a similar project for CPV Food Co., Ltd., a member of the CP Group: “Wastewater Treatment System for CPV Food Export Chicken Meat Slaughtering and Processing Plant, with a capacity of 8,000 m³/day.”
This project was one of the largest facilities in Vietnam’s meat slaughtering and processing industry and the second-largest of its kind in Southeast Asia.
A distinctive feature of the project was the Investor’s requirement to integrate a wastewater treatment and reuse system together with an ultra-pure water treatment system using RO technology.
This solution made an important contribution to conserving water resources, improving environmental protection, and supporting the production of high-quality products for both domestic and international markets. It also contributed to the development and integration of Vietnam’s livestock industry toward a safer, more efficient, and more sustainable future.
