Koastal Eco Group Welcomes Major Milestones in the Final Months of 2022

In November 2022, Koastal Eco Group, together with our valued Investor, TH Group, proudly organized the Inauguration Ceremony for the “Wastewater Treatment Plant for Dairy Farming Complex No. 3 – Capacity: 1,200 m³/day” and the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the “Wastewater Treatment Plant for Dairy Farming Complex No. 1 – Capacity: 2,500 m³/day” in Nghe An Province.

The construction contract for Plant No. 3 was signed in 2019. Koastal Eco completed the construction, acceptance, and handover of the system to the Investor for operation in December 2021. After nearly 12 months of operation, the treatment system has demonstrated its performance, with treated effluent consistently meeting QCVN 62:2016/BTNMT – Column B, and Column A when required, while achieving operating costs 15% lower than the initial commitment.

This achievement represents more than two years of continuous dedication and effort from Koastal Eco, together with tremendous support from our valued Investor, TH Group.

Driven by the strong commitment of TH Group’s Founder to environmental protection and sustainable development, as well as the Group’s confidence in Koastal Eco’s capabilities and commitments, the “Wastewater Treatment Plant for Dairy Farming Complex No. 3” was required from the outset to achieve QCVN 62:2016/BTNMT – Column A, rather than Column B as stipulated in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).

Koastal Eco is proud to have been among the pioneering contractors in Vietnam to successfully implement a large-scale livestock wastewater treatment project capable of achieving Column A effluent quality, without relying on costly and less environmentally friendly treatment technologies such as Advanced Oxidation Processes (Fenton) or Reverse Osmosis (RO).

This success also laid the foundation for Koastal Eco to earn even greater trust from TH Group, which subsequently awarded us four additional wastewater treatment contracts for other TH dairy farms in Phu Yen, Thanh Hoa, and Dairy Farming Complexes No. 1 and No. 2 in Nghe An, with a total capacity of 6,850 m³/day.

This is a great honor and one of the strongest affirmations of Koastal Eco’s technology research and development capabilities, as well as the reputation we have built during nearly 18 years of operation in the Vietnamese market.

Earlier, on November 5, 2022, Koastal Eco also collaborated with TH Group to organize the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the “Wastewater Treatment Plant for Dairy Farming Complex No. 1 – Capacity: 2,500 m³/day” in Nghe An Province.

This project marks the fourth wastewater treatment project for which TH Group has entrusted Koastal Eco as the Main Contractor.
